Special Collection is back with an updated Black Chrome design and three models: CURVE 2.0° 27, HOCKEY 27 and POWER 23.

The design ties the collection together, but beneath the surface are three different shafts for players looking for different characteristics and feel.
WHAT IS SPECIAL COLLECTION?
Special Collection is ZONE’s platform for shaft technologies and profiles that are not part of the regular range.
The models are made for a smaller group of players who know exactly what they are looking for and appreciate specific characteristics, constructions and playing sensations.
It gives some of our most unique shafts a place of their own, united by one expression but defined by distinctly different characteristics
THREE MODELS
AIR/TWO CURVE 2.0° 27 features a 2.0° pre-bent shaft, 27 flex and a round 25.2 mm grip profile. The curve is part of the shaft geometry and clearly separates the model from a traditional straight shaft.
The construction consists of 95% carbon fiber and 5% glass fiber. CURVE is available in 96, 100 and 104 cm and comes with AIR/TWO PP.
AIR/TWO CURVE 2.0° 27 suits the floorball player who prioritizes finishing. The curved shaft helps generate extra power in the shots.
AIR/TWO HOCKEY 27 also has 27 flex and the same 95/5 material mix, but here the grip profile makes the difference. The Hockey profile measures 27 × 18.5 mm and gives the shaft a different shape in your hands compared with a round shaft.
The model is available in 96, 100 and 104 cm and comes with a Hockey end cap and AIR/TWO PP.
The hockey sticks offer a unique grip profile for players who want a different feel in their hands, with the same playing charactaristic as our straight POWER shafts.
AIR/TWO POWER 23 combines a straight, round shaft with 23 flex.
The grip profile is 25.2 mm and the construction again consists of 95% carbon fiber and 5% glass fiber.
POWER 23 is available in 100 and 104 cm and comes with AIR/TWO PP.
The floorball stick has the same playing charactaristic as our straight POWER shafts, with a stiffer flex for players who load the shaft heavily when shooting.
95/5 - MORE THAN A PERCENTAGE
All three models use 95% carbon fiber and 5% glass fiber.
Glass fiber has different mechanical properties from carbon fiber and is used to influence the behaviour, durability and response of the composite.
The ratio between the materials can in turn affect weight, feel and the overall character of the shaft.
The flex number does not tell the whole story either. Materials, fiber orientation, laminate construction and shaft geometry influence how the construction responds when it bends, twists and is loaded during play.
Two shafts with the same flex can therefore feel very different on the court.
